Formed in 1976 CSL has evolved as one of the most successful family owned retail organisations in the UK. From being an upholstery manufacturer until late 2004 and selling as a factory superstore, to becoming a real value for money retailer, providing exceptional quality, service and value in a market generally driven more by cost than quality. CSL's values remain firmly planted with only quality products at exceptional value.

 

From it's manufacturing background, CSL has now moved forward using it's product expertise to source furniture from quality manufacturers all over the globe. The extensive range of furniture within CSL stores now comes from the UK, Italy, Eastern Europe, the USA and the Far East, with our buyers travelling far and wide to find the quality and value that it represents.

Your experience of CSL as a customer is our prime concern, you can expect a class leading experience from the moment you walk into the store, to the moment your new sofa is delivered. Our service is end to end. 

 

Sales Consultants are trained to do just that, consult. There are no pushy sales people at CSL, just consultants trained to help, with in depth product knowledge to help make your choices more informed. 

 

This is coupled with effective and efficient order processing and finance credit checking (where applicable). We know that the last thing you need once you've chosen your new furniture is to be kept waiting or inconvenienced in any way and so our target is fast competent service from the moment you make your decision. 

   

A FASTER delivery...

Delivery at CSL can be faster too. As with our competitors, we buy from suppliers who quote as long as 12 weeks for furniture to be made to order. The difference is that at CSL we also rotationally stock many of our leading lines in popular colours, enabling delivery to be as fast as 7 days on many products. Of course, most of the product is allocated to your order before it actually arrives with us and so our average delivery time on these items is currently just less than 6 weeks.

The best after sales service

Whilst we only supply quality products and service, there will inevitably be a need for after sales service on some products within their lifetime. This can be a failure of some sort or an accident on your behalf. Should your furniture require service at any stage in its lifetime, CSL is almost unique operating after sales care totally in house, with our own call centre and technicians. Available for advice as well as service, our service department is customer focussed and there to help. 

 

Every one of our products is serviced by our internal team of well trained, skilled technicians. This means that we control everything from the first call to the end solution. This has meant that we now lead the industry in both response and solution timescales. 

 

Indeed a technician, skilled in all aspects of upholstery and leather will normally be with you in your home within 2-3 days of your first call to us and will solve any issue on his first visit in over 75% of cases.
